We’re thrilled to announce our first artists for Roadburn 2018!
After years of them topping our wishlist, Godspeed You! Black Emperor will be our main festival headliners with two different shows performed on Saturday and Sunday night.
We’re delighted to announce that Jacob Bannon will be our curator (main stage Friday, Het Patronaat Saturday), and that Converge will perform two album sets - one for their upcoming new album ‘The Dusk In Us’ and one for ‘You Fail Me’.
Ivar Bjørnson and Einar Selvik will present Hugsjá - a fitting follow up to Ivar Bjørnson & Einar Selvik’s Skuggsjá
Also confirmed: Bell Witch, Panopticon (both with two special sets), Colin Stetson’s EX EYE, The Heads, Igorrr, Aerial Ruin and Sangre de Muerdago.

Last but certainly not least, we can confirm our official poster artist for 2018 is Richey Beckett.

vu qu’ils vont faire des économies en faisant jouer deux sets à tous les groupes, ils vont je suppose diviser le prix du billet par deux, non ? :tetesdegland:

Ben si on reprend le même logement que la dernière fois avec Damien + 2 potes, et Mathieu, on serait déjà complet. S’il est toujours dispo.

Damien était déjà chaud pour le refaire, mais alors en plus avec Godspeed dont il est très fan, je pense que ça c’est bon aussi.

Bon, va falloir trouver un autre plan, j’ai demandé à notre hôtesse, et elle a décidé de ne plus louer sa piaule pour 4 personnes, juste pour 2. Je vais checker ça tous les jours (c’est comme ça que j’avais trouvé son annonce cette année).

Ahead of our tickets going on sale next week, we have another set of bands to announce for Roadburn 2018! Cult of Luna and Julie Christmas will be giving Mariner the send off it deserves as they play it in full one more time for us. The mighty Weedeater will be performing God Luck and Good Speed in full. The incredible Grave Pleasures will be giving us thrills, and the Future Occultism project (featuring Bong-Ra) will no doubt blow our minds! Jacob Bannon has announced the first band for his curation, as Japan’s GREENMACHiNE will play D.A.M.N. in full. Also confirmed are Arabrot Official, FURIA, Gost, HELL , Maggot Heart, Mizmor, OCCVLTA, Sannhet, THAW, Uniform and Wrekmeister Harmonies. Once again, credit goes to Costin Chioreanu for the announcement video - thank you!

As Roadburn's popularity has increased over the years, we have strived to maintain the intimate atmosphere whilst comfortably accommodating our growing audience, and the demand for certain shows. We're thrilled our 2018 edition will see the introduction of the Koepelhal as a Roadburn venue.

Located just a few minutes walk from the 013, the venue will house our merchandise for artists (meaning a return to a more laid back atmosphere and greater opportunity for interaction between bands and fans!), as well as being used as a 1,200 capacity stage on the Friday and Saturday of Roadburn 2018! More info on venues will be available in due course.

Trop bien, donc en gros il y aura surement plus de billet ce qui est tres bien car je ne suis pas sur de pouvoir acheter un billet le jour meme de la mise en vente.

je pense pas qu’ils vont augmenter le nombre de billet… mais juste utiliser salle secondaire plus grande pour eviter que les gens ralent trop car ils ont pas réussi à rentrer dans la salle.
